1995年より、創作活動を始めました。
きっかけは偶然でしたが、私にとっては必然でした。
境界線に存在する思考やものを表現しています。
目には見えないけれど、存在するもの。
過去と現実と未来の境目に存在するもの。
相反する２つのモノの境目に存在するもの。
そんなものたちを表現するために模索し、いつも道の途中にいます。

Miyuki Asayama
Art is an integral part of my life and helps me to live naturally, freely, and instinctively.
It's like a breath of fresh air.
I produced art work to express concepts that exist on boundaries and are not readily apparent.
For example, the spaces between past, present, and future or those things that exist between opposites could be part of both or neither.
Thoughts and phenomenon don't exist on their own but are connected in a borderless circle.
This is where I float when I'm producing art works.
It is also here that I've come across number of ideas and answer.
